Our Story

Shelby holds a Master's degree from Rockhurst University in Speech Language Pathology. She has worked with various ages across various settings. Her specialties include receptive and expressive language disorders, articulation, social/pragmatic communication delays, and fluency/stuttering.

Outside of work, Shelby enjoys time with her husband, three kids, and three dogs.

Jenn holds a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Kansas. She has experience working in both public education and outpatient settings. She specialized in receptive/expressive language disorders, articulation and phonology disorders, apraxia, and literacy development.

Jenn homeschools her two young boys and enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and having adventures with friends in KC.

Hailey holds a Master's degree in Medical Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Washington and has worked in a variety of pediatric settings since graduating. She has a passion for literacy and supporting children in developing both reading skills and a love for books. She focuses on structured literacy interventions and encouraging effective at home practice. She also specializes in speech sound disorders and fluency/stuttering.

Outside of work, she loves spending time with family and friends, reading, being outside, and baking!

 Mary holds a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Rockhurst University (but graduated with her undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas and is a proud Jayhawk!). She has experience working with the pediatric population in both private practice and outpatient in a hospital setting. Her specialties include pediatric/infant feeding and swallowing, orofacial myology, and expressive/receptive language delays, and social language delays.

In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, and their family dog. 

Kara holds a Master's degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Central Missouri. Kara has seven years of experience working with a wide variety of communication needs as a school-based speech-language pathologist.  After spending a few years at home with her young children, Kara stepped back into the therapy world and has been with us since 2024.  

In her free time, Kara enjoys board games with her husband and friends, being outside and active with her three children, cooking, and being involved in her kids' sports and school activities.  Kara has a passion for helping kids of all ages reach their full potential as young communicators. 

Baylee received her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Wichita State University. She has worked in a variety of settings with 3–21-year-olds.  Baylee prioritizes building meaningful connections with her clients and championing them to reach their goals through strengths-based approaches. She is passionate about providing therapy in the areas of receptive/expressive language, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), social pragmatic language, and articulation/phonology. Her experience in various settings helps her adapt in therapy and meet clients where they are.

When Baylee is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her dog and husband, you will always hear her talk about new adventures that they go on! 

Kelly received her master’s degree in Communication Science & Disorders from the University of Missouri. Originally from St. Joseph, MO, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Mississippi. She has 13 years of experience in the public school setting, serving early education, elementary, and high school populations. Kelly focuses on building relationships with clients, families, and caregivers. She has a passion for helping clients become more effective communicators to more fully participate in their community. She is well-versed in Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC), articulation & phonological disorders, and receptive/expressive language delays and differences. 

Kelly lives in the Northland with her husband, two children, and dogs! She enjoys reading, being creative, and relaxing outdoors in the hammock.

When Baylee is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her dog and husband, you will always hear her talk about new adventures that they go on! 

Delaney received her bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Rockhurst University. She has experience working in the pediatric setting. Her interests include ASD and neurodiversity affirming practices.

In her free time, Delaney enjoys spending time with her family and friends and reading!
